HeadStrong: Creating Good Through Athlete Marketing

The HeadStrong Foundation, founded by Hofstra Lacrosse player Nick Colleluori, has been making a significant impact in the youth and college lacrosse community for nearly 20 years, improving the lives of those affected by cancer.

With its roots in lacrosse, this summer the foundation is now expanding its athlete marketing strategy:

  1. Expand Partnerships in New Sports 
    Partner with athletes in sports like football, field hockey, and track and field to create exciting new partnerships.

  2. Engage Genuine Audiences
    Select athletes who not only excel in their sport but also have a genuine, engaged audience interested in supporting charitable causes.

  3. Focus on Local Impact
    Identify athletes located around the East Coast, near their HQ in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania, or one of their Nick’s Houses, to facilitate in-person giving back initiatives.
